Dedicated to the Polish partizan Józef Kuraś, nicknamed „Ognia” (Fire), and his men.
Unveiled 13 August 2006 by President of Poland Lech Kaczyński and Zbigniew Kuraś – Józef’s son.
Artist: Marek Szczepanik, sculptor from Radom – graduale of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts.
